At 9:30am on Saturday 18 November 2017, the whistle will blow to signal the beginning of the Credit Union Christmas Pageant! Join more than 260,00 people along the 3.3 kilometre route in Adelaide's city centre to welcome the colourful and exciting Credit Union Christmas Pageant - South Australia's traditional welcome to the festive season. Arrive early to get the best spot along the Pageant route. Watch the amazing parade of storybook floats, listen to the marching bands and wave to Father Christmas. From humble beginnings of just eight horse drawn floats and four bands, the event has grown to include 64 floats and more than 172 moving performing sets. The Credit Union Christmas Pageant is a family event. Come and enjoy the spirit of Christmas and community.


11 October – 15 October 2017 ADELAIDE FASHION FESTIVAL

The 2017 Adelaide Fashion Festival, presented by Mercedes-Benz Adelaide, celebrates innovative, bold and dynamic South Australian design. Making use of Adelaide’s vibrant venues and fashion precincts, the 2017 Adelaide Fashion Festival presents contemporary and relevant fashion and accessories alongside makeup and hair styling, local photography, music and iconic South Australian food and beverages

The spotlight this year will be on feminine lines, custom accessories and contemporary glamour with a strictly South Australian aesthetic. Established favourites such as Acler, The Daily Edited, Naomi Murrell, GretaKate and Couture+Love+Madness will feature alongside brands making their debut including Binny, Cinquante, Ashlee Lauren and Varacalli Couture. 


21 September – 8 October 2017. OzAsia Festival

 OzAsia Festival is Australia’s premier international arts festival focussing on Asia. This year’s program showcases some of the finest theatre, dance, music, film and visual arts that Asia has to offer. Highlights include The End, the world’s first vocaloid opera starring virtual pop star Hatsune Miku and Until the Lions, a dance-theatre epic from award-winning choreographer, Akram Khan.

Come for a show and stay for a meal; OzAsia is accompanied by a mouth-watering smorgasbord of dumplings, noodles, curry, premium local wine and beer all available at the Lucky Dumpling Market, taking over Adelaide’s Riverbank precinct for the duration of the festival. Kick-off the OzAsia celebrations with the atmospheric OzAsia Moon Lantern Festival on 1 October.
