SALA Festival

1st - 31st August 2019

The SALA Festival is an annual celebration of South Australian living visual artists. Held every August, thousands of artists exhibit in hundreds of venues throughout metropolitan and regional areas here in South Australia.

The art is as diverse as the artists with multiple and mixed medium works, including painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, digital media, moving image, glass, ceramics, textiles and more.

The Festival is a must see as it lights up the whole of South Australia with dazzling and unique visuals.

The Royal Adelaide Show

30th August - 8th September 2019

Run by the Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Society of SA, the Royal Adelaide Show is the longest running and most popular event in the South Australian calendar.

Featuring entertainment, food & wine, carnival & showbags, animals, competitive sections, commercial exhibitors & more, there truly is something for everyone!

Adelaide Zoo

Adelaide Zoo, one of Adelaide’s most iconic attractions, is home to more than 2,500 animals and 250 species of exotic and native mammals, birds, reptiles and fish exhibited over eight hectares of magnificent botanic surroundings.

Tree Climb

Australia’s first inner-city aerial adventure park built within the natural environment of the Adelaide City Park Lands.


With 7 courses allowing thrill-seekers of all ages and abilities to safely swing, leap, climb and fly through the tree tops.


The Tree Climb is just a 10 minute drive or 20 minutes by public transport from the hotel.
